Each waveform data consists of 50 data points sampled from IF signal with center frequency of 1 kHz and band width of 100 Hz, which are converted from 8 frequencies from 59 kHz to 1.3 MHz. The sampling frequency is 5 kHz. The directions of the five electromagnetic fields change depending on the time due to the spacecraft spin. So, some matrixes for conversion from antenna's coordinate system to equatorial coordinate system are also provided in the same data file. As for usage of them, please check [README-PY.pdf](https://legacy.darts.isas.jaxa.jp/app/stp/akebono/README-PY.pdf) also.

## Data Analysis
Here, you can find [a TDAS load procedure file for PWS electric field intensity spectrum data](https://legacy.darts.isas.jaxa.jp/app/stp/akebono/akb_load_pws.pro). PWS electric field intensity spectrum data analysis becomes available on TDAS with this load procedure. TDAS (THEMIS Data Analysis Software suite) has been developed by THEMIS project. See [TDAS web page](http://themis.ssl.berkeley.edu/software.shtml) for details.

If you have any questions or request for the data, please contact [DARTS](https://darts.isas.jaxa.jp/en/contact).

## Request for using this data
In any publications, the use of the Akebono data should be acknowledged, for example,

> "Akebono/PWS data were provided through DARTS at the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, JAXA in Japan."","text/markdown
graph LR
classDef this fill:#ffa23e
 darts:akebono-pws-npw-py-data["あけぼの プラズマ波動＆サウンダー実験（PWS）指向観測フラックスデータ"]:::this
click darts:akebono-pws-npw-py-data href "/datasets/darts:akebono-pws-npw-py-data"
","graph LR
classDef this fill:#ffa23e
 darts:akebono-pws-npw-py-data["Akebono Plasma Wave Detector and Sounder (PWS) Poynting flux data"]:::this
click darts:akebono-pws-npw-py-data href "/datasets/darts:akebono-pws-npw-py-data"
",1789713907343]
